This compact, fully tunable LED solar simulator is a software‑defined solar simulation system designed to deliver highly accurate, controllable artificial sunlight for laboratory research. The system uses a multi‑channel LED architecture with independently controlled wavelength bands, enabling full spectral shaping through software rather than physical filters.
The simulator is capable of reproducing standard solar spectra such as AM1.5G and AM0, as well as extended and non‑standard solar conditions, with changes executed instantly through software commands. By eliminating bulbs, filters, and manual calibration steps, this system enables rapid, repeatable switching between solar conditions while maintaining research‑grade accuracy. Its compact footprint and directed optics make it well suited for small‑area device testing, advanced photovoltaic research, and experiments requiring precise spectral control.
