About the Role
We are looking for a technically strong and customer-oriented Sales & Applications Executive to develop and support our Digital Image Correlation (DIC) business.
The candidate will be responsible for understanding customer applications, demonstrating DIC systems, developing measurement methodologies, conducting experiments, analysing results, and providing technical support to customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand customer requirements and identify suitable DIC solutions.
- Conduct DIC system demonstrations, application studies and proof-of-concept experiments.
- Support customers in setting up DIC experiments for Mechanical testing & Materials characterization
- Analyse full-field displacement, deformation and strain data with High-speed imaging
- Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support.
- Prepare technical reports, application notes and customer presentations.
- Travel to customer sites for demonstrations, installations, training and application support.
- Work closely with universities, R&D centres, automotive, aerospace, mechanical engineering, materials, civil engineering and manufacturing industries.
- Support the sales team in technical discussions, customer presentations and proposal preparation.
- Develop new applications and demonstrations for DIC technology.
- Maintain application records and follow up on ongoing customer projects.
- Coordinate with international principals/manufacturers for advanced technical support.
Required Qualifications
Preferred:
- M. Tech / M.E. / M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, Applied Mechanics, Materials Science, Aerospace Engineering, Civil Engineering, Instrumentation, Physics or a related field.
Also considered:
- B.E. / B. Tech candidates with strong hands-on experience in experimental mechanics, optical measurements, high-speed imaging or DIC.
Preferred Skills
- Strong in technical problem-solving
- Comfortable working with experimental setups
- Good at understanding customer problems and converting them into measurement solutions
- Willing to travel extensively for customer demonstrations and application support
- Comfortable interacting with professors, researchers, R&D engineers and industry customers
- Good in technical communication and presentation
- Self-motivated and willing to learn new technologies
- Able to work independently as well as with the sales team
- Understanding of Simulation tools like ANSYS, COMSOL, Abaqus and others relevant simulation tools.

Candidates with experience in any of the following will be strongly preferred:
- 2D/3D DIC
- High-speed cameras
- Strain, Tensile and compression testing
- Impact testing
- Vibration and structural testing
- Aerospace or automotive testing
- Civil Structure Impact testing
- Optical metrology
- FEA and correlation of experimental/FEA results
- Understanding of Simulation tools like ANSYS, COMSOL, Abaqus and others relevant simulation tools.
