Solar simulator
High Power UV & Photobiology - Focused Solar Simulators
Description:
This high‑power UV solar simulator is a xenon‑arc–based, research‑grade system specifically engineered for photobiology, dermatology, cosmetics, and UV‑exposure studies. The system produces solar ultraviolet radiation in the 290–400 nm range, closely replicating natural sunlight while allowing precise control over spectral content.
The simulator can be quickly configured to provide UVA‑only, UVB‑only, UVA + UVB, or broadened UV/visible output, enabling diverse experimental protocols without the thermal load associated with natural sun exposure. High irradiance levels—several times stronger than tropical sunlight—are achievable while maintaining excellent spatial uniformity, making the system ideal for controlled laboratory photobiology and materials‑degradation testing.
