Description:
The Duo elements have been developed for medium weight instruments (600kg to 1600kg) with a complex geometry, e.g. UHV-STM, or setups with distributed structural elements. The basic Duo configuration consists of two Duo elements connected by a rigid plate or frame, e.g. a breadboard. The basic configuration can be extended by by additional elements if a bigger load capacity or higher compensation forces are required.
